Demios, Athena, Artemis and Hades appear.
Xena stands, holding up her chakram, which is still covered in Gabrielle’s blood.
Athena: There’s no need for you to be hurt as well Xena. Give us your daughter! It’s true you can kill gods but at four-to-one, it’s not great odds.
Xena: Not for you.
Demios and Hades fire bolts, but Xena sends them flying as well. The gods take cover.
Xena flips with a yell as Athena fires. She lands on the table and brings it down before her and Eve and the two duck behind it.
Xena throws the chakram, which splits in two and bounces around the room, keeping the gods busy as they duck from both pieces.
Xena lowers the dagger, but gives Aphrodite a warning look.
Aphrodite touches Gabrielle’s forehead and disappears with her.
Aphrodite appears with Gabrielle in another part of the tavern, cradling Gabrielle’s head in her lap.
Xena: Quick.
Hades blows up the table, which knocks Xena and Eve forward from the blast.
The chakram returns to Xena’s hand.
Hades and Demios throw bolts, which Xena knocks away.
Xena throws two daggers at Athena, but she ducks.
Hades throws a bolt. Xena knocks it aside and it almost hits Demios. Xena knocks away another bolt and then throws her sword at Athena, who ducks.
Demios: Ooh! Ooh!
Xena: Come on! You gotta get out!
Artemis shoots an arrow, but Xena blocks it.
Xena: Okay.
Hades shoots a bolt, which Xena blocks. Demios shoots a bolt, which lands near Eve. Her outfit catches fire. Eve screams and falls. Demios laughs. Xena grabs a blanket and tries to put out the fire. Eve screams. The gods move closer. Xena puts out the fire.
Xena: All right?
Hades starts to make another large fireball.
Hades: How did you think it would end?
Xena grabs a bottle of alcohol and takes a drink.
Hades holds the fireball above his head.
Xena holds up a flaming stick and spits the alcohol on it. Hades is hit and screams as he burns.
The gods are horrified.
Xena moves to Eve and helps her up.
Xena: Come on. Go!
Eve and Xena move off.
Xena: Go! Go!
Xena and Eve leave the room. Hades dies.
Athena: No-o-o-o!
